The Coalition For Kindness is an organization with the two main goals of spreading love and showing people that “It is easier to love than to hate.” We try to help those in need and show that something as simple as being kind to people could change your life as well as theirs. These acts of kindness can range from simply talking to someone who seems alone to buying the person behind you their bagel in the deli. We hope to challenge people to be kind which we hope will inspire other people to pass along kindness.
Our founder, Joseph Maronski, is a teenager from New York. He loves to act, play instruments, sing, and perform. He says, “I hope that with the Coalition For Kindness we can show people we are all the same on the inside and that we all still need basic things, one of these being love. I believe that by simply spreading love, we can all come together and assist those who need help. Nowadays, we look too much at our differences. We need to focus on our similarities more because in the end, we are all human. I think everyone has a good side to them, you just have to look for it. I am committed to continue fighting until we rid the world of hate.”
